Hello All;

Some sites work great with FB login information.
However, in the case here. (At least for me, anyway)
I login, post a reply.
Go on to do something else, and when I get in a message in email
I click, come back to the forum, and I am logged out.
I have to log back in every time I make a post.

Any thoughts?
How easy is it to take my FB login and create an actual account on the Forum?

Thanks
Wayne

OK. Never been in a forum before that has that kind of restrictions.
In all forums that I have been in, even the one I designed.
There is an option.

Public Sign in - Logout when browser window closed
Private Sign in - Stay logged in until logged out, or until 30 day cookie expires. Which ever comes first.

I wonder why this forum Admin chose to do the 10 minute login across the board, like this?

Went by the garage, they tested, and said that the Alternator is good.
And that the starter Solenoid should also be good as well.
They want us to come back in on a day that the car does not usually want to start.
That would be on a hot day.
So, we are going to wait for a hot day and head over there.

Will post back when we find out something.

Are you still having this issue?

This may have been because you were a new member and not yet approved by an admin. All members are moderated upon joining to combat spammers; sometimes it takes a day or two for this to happen. Until it does there are restrictions.

Yep, still having the same issue.

And I noticed that I posted my reply to the wrong thread :)
So, I copied it, and will post it to the right thread this time....

Not seeing why it would have you logging in after each post. That should not be an issue if you registered with a regular account here. I will send your info to the higher ups and see what they can find.

I would really appreciate that.
It is right annoying having to login every time I turn around.
reminds me of the old forums before people started using cookies.
As long as your browser window stayed open, you were fine.
Once you closed the window, you would have to login again.
In this case, It does not matter rather the window is open or not.
I still have to login after a little while.

So do you have to login for every post, or just after the 10 minute inactivity? You've clicked "keep me logged in"?
