Anybody have problems with the car alarm (horn honking) going off by itself? Today we heard a car honking outside and sure enough it was our car. Nobody around and no damage to the car so I assume it went off by itself. It also goes off when we open the trunk by remote without unlocking the doors first. Is that normal?

I have the same problem (except for the trunk part) on my 1994 LHS. I was going to call the dealer to see what was going on, but maybe I'll see what people on here say first.

I had a problem with the alarm/keyless entry on my 93 Concorde. I would lock it and go into the store or whatever and when I came out it would be unlocked. I thought maybe I just forgot to lock it, but one time it just unlocked when I was standing next to the car.

I thought maybe it was haunted!!! Turned out I needed a new receiver for the keyelss entry...it was all f'ed up.

Yesterday and today the alarm went off by just pressing the unlock button on the remote. Any chance it could be because of a dying battery in the remote or is my receiver all f'ed up as well?
