After more than a half year, my car is where I wanted
it to be. After correcting my recent problems with
the new bearing hubs - bolts were backing out.
- I also replaced the fuel filter. The old one didn't
have a single drop of fuel dripping out of
the feed end. It sounded like a thremos full
of coffee. After installing the new filter, the car
is back to idling and accelerating so beautifully! I am
back to really loving my car again. Also,
one of the flanges on the exhaust had come loose
and was causing backpressure loss.
Just wanted to sort of celebrate here.

Thanks! And it is in fact, very sweet! It is amazing how a clogged fuel filter can
ruin performance. I think the last thing I will do is install the autostick. I plan
to install +/- buttons on the window switch cover for shifting.
