Well, I can't agree with you Thrasher. The Motorsports package is a "appearance package" and not a performance package like the R/T. That's why Dodge makes the R/T, that's the performance option.
I think it's good that Dodge offered the Motorsports package across the line. It's a good looking car that shouldn't be offered only to the top of the line cars. The R/T's are already a pretty expensive car (but a bargain compared to a simarily equipped 300M), Dodge doesn't want to alienate it's buyers as well as price a car like this up with the 300M (they don't want to steal sales from themselves.)
Though I admit, the Motorpsort Intrepid is in it's prime as an R/T, I'm glad Dodge made it available to all.
