i don't think it's totaled. cuz it's far from that, and the ad sez it drives. my dad used to own salvage yards, they would buy the cars from insurance companies even if they were not totaled and he fixed em up and sold em again.

on the dodge you have two options .You can get a shifter on the steering column with a bench seat or a floor mounted shifter with buckets. You can only get the bench on the SE , but guess what we built many SE motorsports cars. With the bench seat, column shifter , 2.7 and then all decked out in 17 inch rims spoiler etc.

bah I think the SE motorsports is a waste! but thats me, I liked the idea of making the R/T's and dakota's 4x2's and Neon's , durango's get a 'special value group', with the motorsports packages for diversity, but yet limited <i have a dodge ad i got late last year with the 3 motorsports packages, looking at it now!> and i found out from the dealer that Dodge was going to be making an ENTIRE line of Motorsport cars!      and not a limited thing...

so much for being the unique one around.

bah, I hope they dont get the trackbags and cool floormats then. :p

can ya tell i am just a bit miffed?

Well, I can't agree with you Thrasher. The Motorsports package is a "appearance package" and not a performance package like the R/T. That's why Dodge makes the R/T, that's the performance option.

I think it's good that Dodge offered the Motorsports package across the line. It's a good looking car that shouldn't be offered only to the top of the line cars. The R/T's are already a pretty expensive car (but a bargain compared to a simarily equipped 300M), Dodge doesn't want to alienate it's buyers as well as price a car like this up with the 300M (they don't want to steal sales from themselves.)

Though I admit, the Motorpsort Intrepid is in it's prime as an R/T, I'm glad Dodge made it available to all.

I think it's good that they spread it out among all the lines, but I tend to lean more towards Thrasher's comments. They should definately have had more packages for the R/T and ES, than the SE.

Just my opinion
