This post is a resolution to a problem I was having. It is now fixed. I am hoping to help someone else having a similar problem.

I have a 95 Intrepid and the flashers would not work. I checked the fuses and changed the flasher unit. Still no go. Neither the turns signals nor hazard flashers would work.

After some troubleshooting, I discovered that the flashers are powered via a small wire which attaches directly to the + terminal clamp of the battery. The wire had corroded at the clamp although it was not apparent just by looking. I had to remove the clamp from the battery terminal, remove the plastic shrink wrap from the small wire and resolder it to the terminal lug. Hope this helps.
