Hi guys.
I'm trying to install an aftermarket foglights on my 01 trep, but after reading the owners manual i'm afraind of doing any drilling on the bumper as it "might" set off the air bags. now i know that a lot of people have been able to place an aftermarket fog lamps/lights on their cars and was wondering that could be done.
would i somehow need to turn off the sensors for the airbag system to accomplish my task or is it just a precaution by dodge?

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. That will not allow any electronics to function including air bags.

It shouldn't be a problem. Just think how many times you probably bumped into the front of your car and nothing happened.

on my 98 i just got some slim rectangular lights and they are mounted in the lower crosshair out as far as you can go - there is a black plastic piece in there that i mounted them too. There isn't much room, but it is possible
