Hi Everyone,

I never ever gave the Intrepids a moments thought. Untill I drove one that had 162,000 miles on it.
The damn thing drove great! Lots of power and great handling.
I was impressed enough that when a first gen. Eagle came my way for next to nothing, I jumped on it.
It also runs great.

I don't get it. All the Ford and Chevy cars that I have driven are worn out at 150K. These are just in their stride.

I'll be checking out a 2003 in a few days. It might be the first car that I've had that still ran strong after it was paid off.:)

Well, welcome to the board! But you might be a little too rough on those "Blue Ovals." You just gotta pick the right ones, like the F-series trucks or the Taurus, you'll definitely get more than 150K out of those guys. I think the Chevies are dead at the factory and then run several thousand miles post-mortum.

These Dodge cars are pretty neat and sophisticated too. Also have a lot of nice "creature comforts."

Good luck and nice to meet ya!

Joseph
