changing these out along with other front end parts. i have haynes and factory manual and have the moog greasable replacements. i have done these on mopar van and understand exactly what needs to come off and go on-don't need pix.
what i am looking at is the haynes torque specs. it says front link to steering 17ft/lbs and front link to sway bar 70ft/lbs. the wording in the factory manual is different, but seems to be the same. is "front link to steering" something different than what i am thinking here? in my van both upper and lower nuts on these links were torqued to like 60 ft/lbs???
is top nut that attaches to strut torqued to 17ft/lbs, while nut that attaches to sway bar at 70????? doesnt make sense-but i'll do it that way if correct. thanks.
