im leaking small amounts of fuel under the pass-rear side of my car. i think its coming from the filler hose at the tank itself, but its been raining, and havent really been able to pinpoint it yet. i can smell gas, i knwo it is gas, i am pissed,...(it leaks slowly, but not too slow that it evaporates b4 hitting the ground) i really hope its not a hole in the fuel tank...
i also lost the ABS/TRAC control AGAIN (the solder at the rear left came loose for the 2nd time,...
that one is my fault and mine alone)
OH YEAH...she's idling bad, even out of gear (she shudders at stop when in gear, but the needle also shakes a bit when i throw it in neutral)...need new timing belt???
murphy's law states that whenever you are attempting to trade in your vehicle for a brand new dakota, it will spring leaks and start shaking like a chiuaua...
anyone else here have any probs with leaking fuel??? (oh yeah, and leaky valve covers? i have oil in one of the plug ports, i think cyl #2) anyone have any of these probs? estimated non-warranty dealer cost? or should i just bring it to the dealer in dec. and trade it in as-is (when the fuel leak is plugged). its got 94k miles...need help! any comments will be valued. thanks in advance!
