Hi

I have a rather odd thing that the gear lever seems to be reluctant to move out of park in the morning. My driveway is on a slight downward gradient with the front of the car pointing downhill. It's only been happening for a couple of weeks, particularly on cold mornings (say 7f or below) and when it hasn't moved for a while. Once everything warms up it seems ok.

Just wonder if anyone has any thoughts? I wonder if it could be all the ice and snow and salt that's gumming up the works here in Nova Scotia - 8' snowdrifts everywhere after all these storms.

sounds like it time to replace the shifter cable, had the same thing happen to mine, and only way to solve it was replacement of cable. If you let it go too long, it will bend the shifter and its a PITA after that happens
