Good day all.

I was at the Bone yard yesterday all day. I ran in to some issues with getting the interior out of an Sport.
The Sport has an all power interior, but as I said earlier it is in the junk yard.
What is the best way to move the seats forward to get to the rear 2 bolts?
I am going to remove the interior out of the Sport. I will be taking the top part of the dash to get the Message Center. The Question is don't I have to remove the pcm or something like that out of the donor car?
Plus I'd need it anyway for the power seats, message center and otis, Correct? Where is this PCM? (Not sure if it's the pcm or tcm)

Ok, next.

I was looking at a 300m.
Can the suspension from the 300m fit the Intrepid?
The all seem to be the same, I was just not sure.
The pieces I need are Lower Control Arm, Tie Rod Ends Inner and Outer, trans mount bushing. Not sure if any or all of these items will work from the 300m to the Intrepid.
Will the 300M seats work in the Intrepid? There is a beautiful seat of Char Grey seats all power. If I take the Sport wiring out will the connectors work with the 300M seats?

Ok, last
Will a 300 alternator work for an Intrepid? I have been having issues with my car restarting after it's been running or sitting too long. So i wanted to see if there is a more powerful alt that I could connect?

As always Thanks in advance for the help.

300 seats will work in an intrepid, suspension should be the same, I think most people hook up a spare battery to the "dead" car to gain access to the rear bolts.ime in.. Someone will ch

No clue on the 1st gen stuff. But if you can get to the connector under the seat, cut the body of the harness off and put some 12v power to the two wires and you should be able to move them.

The front 300M seats will bolt right in, the rears won't fit right in a 1st gen without a bit of modding to the mountings on the seats.

From what I've been told, allot of the front suspension is the same right down to the struts. some of the rear is the same but the struts are different.

front seats are interchangeable, rears require work.

The front struts themselves are the same, however the strut mount is not. So you need to put a 1G strut mount on a 2G strut and your golden. From what I've heard, is that because the 2G is a heavier car, the struts are probably harsher giving you a worse ride.

As for the rear struts, they are just different enough to not work.

but here's where I am now literally stuck at a post office. I just changed the battery to a optima red top. that was weds. now I go to turn this thing over and nothing. I mean no clicking, no errr, err, err, like she wants to turn over. nothing at all.
I still have all my other powers. windows locks but nothing when I turn the key over. this is the second time this has happened in three weeks.
if you have any ideas call me 6129783128. thanks

Well I have gotten her back running again. I just will not use the AC. That's what seems to drag all the power from the car.
This is the part that confuses me. I can run for days, then one hot day I run AC and radio, turn her off and she will not restart. no nothin!!!! Very foul!!!

Ok, I just have a rant to get off my chest!!!
I went to start the Trep on Friday morning and nothing. Go to try after I get off work and nothing again. Try Saturday morning, nothing again. Check and listen for the fuel pump to be working and I hear it click on. Then check the fuel rail, take the cap off and fuel is being pumped out. Try to turn her over one more time and she fires up.
I get a couple of codes 12, 42 and 43.

If I remeber correctly the
12 is cause I just put a new red top battery in
42 is fuel rail or regulator. BTW I just replaced the fuel pump, regulator and filter a lilter over 2 months ago.
43 not sure what that is!?
Can anyone shed some light on the codes(just in case I have them incorrect)?

So now I have been running the Trep all day Saturday and most of the day Sunday. I get done with my house chores. So I go the take out the crappy old cloth seats and put in the new leather. Now, please keep in mind that I have a base model with power windows and locks. I figured there would be a power connect for the new leather that I could just splice into. Take out the drivers side seat, cut up the carpet to see reach for the connect and.....no connection there. Of course by this time it's close to 2230(1030p). And I have to put the old crappy seat back in.

Now this morning I go to start the car and nothing again. I just keep thinking once I get her the way I want her then I will be good. But damn!! This is beginning to be a long road.

That is my rant for the day.
