Hello my fellow Road Warriors!

Just picked up a 2000 300M and am looking forward to hanging out here. I am building my 300M into a "one of none/what if?" 2000 Eagle Vision TSi. Since the 300M basically would have been the 2nd gen Vision I figured it would be fun to create my own "Vision.'

Yo that would've been sick! It almost looks like a Saturn at first glance.
Based on these pics, all you'd need to do is remove the Chrysler badges inside and around the car and replace them with the Eagle head.

That actually looks like a good design for what would’ve been the 2nd gen eagle vision. I didn’t realize that they had the whole thing designed and they just stuck Chrysler badges on it and sold it as the 300m.
I remember reading somewhere that Chrysler had produced 2nd gen Vision prototypes and even went so far to extend production of the 1st gen Visions through September of '97 so that Jeep-Eagle dealers were adequately stocked with Visions before the new generation would be introduced for '98.

Of course this all went by the wayside when Daimler merged with Chrysler and the Germans decided to axe the Eagle brand altogether in '98. Vision production did proceed during September of '97 but the nameplate would not continue after that. Hence the decision to rename it a Chrysler (although they should have kept the Vision moniker - 300M never worked for me since these cars never produced 300 horsepower and the 1st gens were being marketed as the Chrysler Vision in Europe).

I'm building a custom grill that will be highlighted by the Eagle emblem. And I'm going to place Eagle badges strategically around the rest of the car. I'm also hoping to pick up an Eagle Vision steering wheel

Good luck getting a 1G steering wheel to fit in a 2G car along with the airbag.

That sure will be a very cool car! Good luck!
Sounds like an interesting “Unicorn” build.
Consider showing it off at Carlisle. Guaranteed to get some looks from the LH folks!

Fr! Ik this is off topic but do you know of any LH meets that happen or have happened in the mid west, preferably near northern Illinois or southern Wisconsin? The only one I know of is in Carlisle.
Thanks for the welcome and well wishes. Here is my roughed out "Vision" grill

There WAS one in southern Wisconsin. My memory is rusty, and I haven't been on the forum here in a LONG time, but there was a hopping good time on a country property there. I had the privilege to attend Art's shindig. Miss those meets.

Alright. I’ll have to do some research and see what’s around. Also the country out here is really beautiful. If you can find a plot cheap enough, it would be a great place to end up.

I'm in North Central ND, but my bother lives in the country north of the Twin Cities. If I find myself visiting him....
