Ok people,
Our web site is under construction, we have been serving some of you with some great products, at good prices, and I can only hope that our customer service has been nothing short of excellent. Our web site / store front should be up around the end of March, be patient with us, there are going to be some bugs that need to be worked out. What would be a tremendous help in finding, and correcting these bugs would be your input. Speaking of your input, that is exactly what we need. We need to know what you want in our website, and inventory. We need to also know what aftermarket products would be a viable stocking item. We want this web site to be the one place to go to for all your Mopar needs.

A short list of some of the features we will implement into the site

Mopar Accessories Catalog
Mopar High Performance Catalog
Aftermarket Products - (may come later depending on input)
Special Deals
Closeouts
Free Shipping items
Apparel
Coupon Discounts
Users Forum
.....How to articles
.....New release information
.....Hot topics
.....Car Clubs
.....Feedback
.....and more...
Customers Image Gallery
Customers Ride of the Month
.....Includes a detailed article about the customers vehicle
.....Larger photo gallery

also working on a parts catalog so you can look up and purchase your own replacement, or maintenance items at a discounted price.

Please respond,
Jeff

Mav, this will be mostly MOPAR stuff. MOPAR doesn't make anything like that for our cars.

So far it sounds great. Can't wait to see it done.

Yes. Definately a fluid area. Somewhere in your web FAQ that lists all the fluid capacities in the car, and a fluid link where you can buy ATF+4 and antifoam.

If I remember, you may have mentioned before that it would be hard to ship fluids, so something will have to be figured out that way.

Hey there Jeff,

Not sure how much of a PITA it would be, but if you could set it up so that once someone registers with their specific vehicle and chooses a SKU # that is non-compatible with their car they would get a pop-up telling them that this part is not the right one for their car and suggest the correct SKU.

Also, if you could incorporate some sort of incentive for return purchases, ie what retailers do with their different "points programs", I think that would be a good tool for you as well. For example, once a user spent $500 on parts they get an online coupon code for $10 off next purchase sorta thing.

One other thing would be a link on each part (that would require one) to a section explaining how to install it with diagrams would be invaluable. That same link could also be used to reccommend additional parts that aren't in the shopping cart already to complete the project (upsell baby!)...

I realize that some of these things would be very labor- and space-consuming, but from my experience with on-line purchases I know things of that nature tend to add a lot to the likelihood that I'll be a life-long patron to a particular site rather than a one-time buyer.

Just my .02,
~Xile

FLUIDS

Great idea about the fluid chart, we will put that in. As far as shipping fluids, we can't, charges for Hazmat are to high. UPS charges a flat $25.00 Hazmat fee on every shipment in addition to shipping charges. This puts the cost of the fluids too high to offer at a good price. We tried to go down this road, to many bumps in it, it will shake you right out of your seat. We are investigating alternative solutions to this delima and hopefully we can come across a more affordable solution.

Thanks for the input

MOpar Super Center sounds awesome. To bad Ma Mopar doesn't make much for the poor old discotinued TREP. I would like to see all the high performance Big block parts in stock though. That would make life easy for people restoring an old Mopar, like myself.
