I love the lowered look, but I was pretty sure the drive wheels were up front? So shouldn't winter tires go front if not all around? 
but yeah, go for the lowering, I know I'm dropping mine around 1.75 inches or so. (eventually $$)

Looks to me like he's got steel wheels with hubcaps, and perhaps the back one fell off. I dunno, just a guess.
YES IT DOES HAVE STEEL WHEELS AND HUBCAPS. THE REAR HUBCAP WAS REMOVED DURING THE PHOTO... I GOT THE CAR USED, AND THE CAP WAS REMOVED TO BE REPAINTED..!! I DO NOT HAVE $4000 TO UPGRADE THE RIMS ON MY VEHICLE RIGHT NOW. THE POINT OF THE POST WAS TO DEMONSTRATE THE FACT TAHT I LOWERED MY CAR IN PHOTOSHOP ALL BY MYSELF AND IT LOOKS QUASI-PHEASALBE. THANK YOU :'(

Sory man, didn't mean to dis your ride and piss you off. The fact that the hubcap was off the back wheel led others to believe you had snow tires just back there. I was simply explaining, as I guessed it was, that the tires were the same all the way around. Sorry if I offended you. Nice job on the photoshopping though, looks like it's real.

I have some Mastercraft Glacier Grip tires (made by Cooper), and the things just grab ice and snow. The traction is pretty incredible in nasty weather. Not too bad dry and wet traction either.
oh yeah...
I'm not saying anything pro or con about this.. after all this IS a message board.. but i never expected to have my car judged like this.. its very humbling i must admit. I've seen in message boards how one person says its lame.. and everything under that post agrees.. just a thought.

Seriously peter_t. I didn't mean ANYTHING negative towards you or your trep. In fact, I think your hubcaps look a lot nicer than my dumb steel wheels with rubber coating.
When I posted that you had steel wheels I was only trying to explain to the others that you didn't just have the snow tires on the back (where there didn't happen to be a hubcap) and as it turns out, you had no snow tires at all.
People were just jumping to conclusions because they saw the snow, and a wheel on back that appeared different than the rest. Then I tried to explain what I thought: that all four of your wheels were once all the same, and something happened to the one hubcap.
I was trying to defend you, in fact, saying that you would NOT be so stupid as to only put snow tires on the back of a front-wheel-drive car. (Although for the record I recommend snow tires all the way around, keep you away from dangerous oversteer in slippery conditions.)

Thanks for you post, i really appreciate you clarifing that with me. I am very proud of my car, and i think we all should be. I feel confident in saying that most of the people that post here are proud of there dodge intrepids because they are good vehicles. I also would like to say that i have gained alot of knowledge about intrepids in general, which has helped me do things to my vehicle that turned out very nicely, such as the installation of a cone filter. Just a note.. don't used oversized pipe for the cone filter fitting.. mine eventually fell off but i cought it in time. Anyway, thanks again
