Gentlemen, I'm still around.

I'm jobless, looking for a new one, and starting to run low on cash.

I might be selling my stereo system to get the cash I need, if a job lineup doesn't go through by the end of next week.

My car's fine. It's got 62,000 on the odo.

I see our fearless leader had to be a copycat of me, with his '99 Deep Slate (ext)/Black (int) ES with sunroof and Infinity system. :p

Anyway, just dropping by to say 'hi'.

Let me know.

Well, I won't know if I'm selling it or not until after next week.

I'll list what I have, so you can pick and choose what you want, IF I decide to sell. I make no guarantees on if I will sell the stuff, so don't get your hopes up. :p

Yeah well... i hear what ya saying man. I am still throwing ideas around on what to do. I have a bullshit amp here from my old car. Im thinking about having that wired up into my trunk and buy a subwoffer and install that into the amp. If the amp turns out to be ****, ill just use the wiring i just ran and replace the amp.

I may look at some stuff at a store by Intrepidatious this weekend.

DJ,

If I sell, I'll be willing to sell it all to you. I don't know of an exact price, but it'll probably be at least $1,000 (bargain, trust me). You will need roughly $1,750-$2,500 more for everything else you will need along with purchasing my stuff. This system was to be my SQ/SPL system. The list is:

2 more amps - Both Phoenix Gold ZX: 475ti, 400ti. $500/ea approx. EBay purchase.

3 Line drivers - All Phoenix Gold PLD1. $129/ea approx. Online purchase through MMXpress.

Installation components - cable, ¾" MDF, terminals, splitters, etc. Phoenix Gold if possible. $500-$750 approx.

Two-four months of build time - I was looking at building a very elaborate (read: permanent) enclosure with blue and red neon to show it off.

If you decide to go ahead with this (most likely not), then I will help do the install. I'll need all expenses paid for and $750-$1,000 labor.

It's a huge project, but I really don't want to see it go. I would at least hope to see everything installed as it was intended, including the stuff I haven't bought.

Like I said, if I get a job, then no sale. Then my project moves forward and I sell my R/C car.

If I don't get a job by Oct 12, then everything goes (including the R/C car). It all hinges on this one job opportunity.

Oh... so this stuff you already bought it but it is not installed in your car yet?

Hmmmm... well I definitely do not have that kind of cash. Hehehe Especially when you mentioned the labor.

I also have no intention of replacing the head unit on my ride because I have the factory changer and steering wheel controls which I really dig.

The main thing I am considering is adding some sort of sub in the trunk. Either a powered sub... or more likely some sort of AMP/Sub combo. I already have a bullshit AMP here im gonna try. I dont need to replace either the 6x9 or the 6.5 speakers inside... at least not now.

Well regardles... I do hope you get your job and all that **** gets installed in the right place (your ES). :) Im checking out a car audio place this weekend.... i dunno maybe ill pick something small up there.

Good luck with the job.

That's because his car is black. Or dark green... My tint is 35% (all that's legal in damn MD), and it looks like nothing at all.

Probably just different photo editing software was used or one of the guys tweaked his photo a little. For instance, in my car pic I've lightened the shadow in the street, erased a tar line in the street, and darkened the sky-line to add contrast to the cityscape.

Well, the only editing I did was blur my license plate. Of course, when I took the pic in my sig, my windows weren't tinted anyway...
