Well, I don't own an intrepid, my mom does, it's a champagne 99. My brother got in a small accident in it and me being the only car person decided to try and save him some cash on the repairs.

Well, just browsing through your Faq's section, I found just what I needed. Just popping in to say you have a very organized easy to maneuver board. Thanks for doing such a good job with it :)

Here's my baby, my 87 T-Bird Sport (5.0)

Thanks again :) and if anyone needs any Ford 5.0 help, feel free to hollar :)

oh yeah, I'm on 4 t-bird boards, 1 bulldog board, and currently have 2 cars... The 5.0 Sport as well as an 87 2.3 turbo 5 speed T-bird

The intrepids are nice, I drove that car around for a year before I got my sport. Can't go wrong with a car they use in Nascar, now can ya? (case in point... my t-birds, lol). I think my mom's has the larger of the 2 V6's...

WOOHOO!!!!! Another "SPORT" fan!!!!

Welcome aboard Crystal! Don't be a stranger!

P.S. Love the TC hood on the Sport! Most of mine received the same treatment! :)

I love my Trep, but the 87-88 Thunderbird body style has always been one of my favorites. They're unique, and they make great hotrods!

 I love my 87 birds :)

Though I'm sure you'll be not so happy to know the sport was in an accident not too long ago and the other guy took off. It's fixable, but I put $2500 in body work in to it last year...

Here's the progression on the sport:

During: http://www.crystalbeckvold.com/tbird/bodyshop/

After: http://www.crystalbeckvold.com/tbird/

And the turbo coupe :)
http://www.crystalbeckvold.com/turbocoupe/ Not bad for a $800 car with 2 rust spots. A paint job and it'll be as good as new :)

Thanks for the welcome everyone :)

That sux! They're getting more and more expensive to fix as the parts supply dwindles away! Try finding a new dash for one!! I purchased the last remaining red one a few years ago from a dealer in south Texas. That's the last one I could find through the nationwide dealer parts search anyway!

You need to get rid of the 14" alloys!

Let me know what boards you're on. I'll keep an eye out for ya. Ciao!

Yeah, the little 14" rims have to go, but I want to go 5 lug 4 wheel disc so I'm just biding my time till I have the $ to do the whole conversion. Probably use either Bullit rims or Mach 1 rims. I'm a fan of 5 spokes.

As for the dash, Dash caps work well and look decent. Mine's been capped and painted black. I'm on cougarnuts, nato, tccoa and the ezboard.

As for the intrepid... my bro finally decided to come home this morning. It's an ES... whatever that means (yes, I'm intrepid illiterate)

I only upgraded one of my Sports to 5-lug. I did the Lincoln Versailles swap. Worked out well, then later I went with a full Baer brake upgrade...WAY expensive, but a very nice mod! All my other Sports received TC rear ends (and the 16" TC alloys) so I at least had disc brakes on all 4 corners. My 5-lug Sport got a nice set of 17" Oz Fittipaldi's...right before I sold the car. :(

Did you get the Intrepid squared away? What kind of repairs did you need to do?

As for the intrepid, I'm working on it. The only damage was a chipped tail light and some bumper scratches. Insurance quoted the damage higher than I can get it fixed for, so basically there's a bit of extra cash I'm trying to convince my mom to use to fix the deep scratches on the rear drivers side door.

Poor intrepid has seen a few scratches, unfortunately they other two were by people who left while my mom was in a store somewhere.
