Does the Homelink system dump the fill if you don't use it? I programmed one of the buttons to open the gate for my dad's community, and when I drove back down to visit after being gone for 4 months, it did not work, even though it worked the entire time I was visiting last time. The battery has not been disconnected at all, and everything else on the overhead computer works fine. The only difference is that I had the windows tinted. Any thoughts?

Maybe the community owners changes the signal to the gate every couple of months!!!

I asked my dad if they had done that, and they have not given any new remotes or anything...I guess I will just reprogram it and see what happens..
