I know a lot of people on here are connecting to their battery for something, be it an amp, neons, etc... where did you route the wire through to get to the engine bay? I ran mine right up through the steering column I think its called. Haven't had any trouble with it, but I know there was a better way to do it. Where are some of the different ways you guys ran the wire? here are some pics of how mine is :

did you fuse that line?

why didnt you use any split wire loom, or any kind of wire protection?

how long do you think that will last?

gary680-Bad spot. Every time you turn your wheel you rub the shaft of the steering column on that power wire. One of these days its going to wear through and short out. Just above were you put the cable is the shifter cable grommet ,reroute the wire through this hole ,will not get damaged
