Dumb question, but on a 2001 intrepid with a 3.2 engine, what are the instructions for changing them. I want to put in silverstars, but I have only changed the bulbs in a 04 intrepid.

The 04 and 01 models are the same. 2 bolts hold each light onto the car and the bulbs are the same (9005 and 9006)

Also while you have the right headlight out it is a good time to inspect and clean the battery terminals.

To continue my dumb thready. I was able to remove the headlight assembly, unplugged the lamp, it started raining as I was trying to figure out if I needed to twist the bulb, or how to remove it. I just hate maybe braking things, I am not very mechanical. Thanks guys.

Carefully twist the plastic lampholder it comes right out.. And remember do not touch the new bulb with your fingers..

That's what I figured, Just the one I tried first was not coming out so easy, and then it started raining. I guess I will try again tomorrow. Thanks,
