6. Install sun sensor/LED in center of dash. Cut hole in IP cover with dremel tool. Run wires from sun sensor/LED to BCM.

From sun sensor DB/RD to BCM gray connector cavity 20 DB/RD
From sun sensor GY/TN to BCM white connector cavity 15 GY/TN (Don't solder GY/TN yet.)
From sun sensor BK/OR to BCM black connector cavity 10 BK/OR
From sun sensor PK to PK in harness on top of dash.

7. Install ATC temp sensor behind bezel above glove box. Connect wires from sensor to BCM –
RD/TN from sensor to RD/TN BCM black connector cavity 1
GY/TN from sensor to GY/TN BCM white connector cavity 15 (don't solder GY/TN yet)
YL/DG from sensor to YL/DG BCM Black connector cavity 12
PK from sensor to PK BCM white connector cavity 19

8. From the BCM black connector cavity 8 BK/RD, run wire to back of dash fuse box (known as junction box) to BK/RD in connector C (white connector with a LB retainer) and to BK/RD on RKE module. You'll have 2 wires, 1 going to back of junction box and 1 going to RKE module.

9. Relay info. Run wires around the front top of the mounting bracket for junction box. Make sure wires do not rub on sharp edges! Position relay to hang over the fuses of the junction block so if relay fails in the future, you can replace it easily.
Solder a PK wire to PK/VT from RKE, from RKE to 86 and 87 of relay.
Run a DG wire from 85 of relay to ground.
Cut PK/BK wire on back of junction box connector c (same connector used earlier, different wire) 3 inches from box.
Solder 1 foot of RD wire to the PK/VT wire going into harness. Run to 30 on relay.
Solder 1 foot of BK wire to the PK/VT wire on junction block. Run to 87A of relay.
DO NOT HOOK RKE PK/BK DIRECTLY TO JUNCTION BOX OR TO HARNESS WIRE OR TO BOTH WIRES WITHOUT RELAY. YOU WILL DAMAGE RKE MODLUE AND BURN FUSES. MAKE SURE YOU USE PROPER GAUGE WIRE ON THESE CONECTIONS (10 GAUGE). TO SMALL OF A WIRE AND YOU WILL HAVE A MELT DOWN AND POSSIBLE FIRE!

10. Run wires from mirror to WT connector on top of dash, driver side.
DB/WT to DB/WT
BK/LG to BK/LG
VT to VT

11. Wires from BCM to ATC unit. Some old wires will be used and some will not. The manual control connectors are called “old blue connector” and “old black connector”. The ATC connectors are called “new white connector” and “new green connector”

BCM white connector GY/TN to GY/TN wire from old blue connector. (Same wire as ambient temp sensor - sun sensor/LED connection. Now solder it)
BCM black connector RD/WT to RD/WT wire from old blue connector
BCM black connector DB/WT to DB/WT wire from old blue connector
BCM black connector DB/RD to DB/RD wire from old blue connector
BCM black connector DG/YL to DG/YL wire from old blue connector
BCM black connector GY/DB to GY/DB wire from old blue connector
BCM black connector PK/DB to PK/DB wire from old blue connector

Tap into BCM white connector wires WT/BK and VT/BR and run to new white connector WT/BK and VT/BR. This is the CCD bus. Use twisted wires from Junker for this connection.
BK/LG wire from old blue connector to BK/LG wire in new white connector
WT wire from old blue connector to WT wire in new white connector
Big BK wire from old black connector to big BK wire on speed control module (See blower motor resistor instruction) Hook small BK wire in new white connector to this splice also.
BK/WT wire in old black connector to BK/WT wire in new green connector
BK/PK wire in old black connector to BK/PK wire in new green connector

Seal shut with heat shrink –
DB/OR from old blue connector – abandon
BK/YL from old blue connector – abandon
RD from old blue connector – abandon
TN from old black connector – abandon
LB from old black connector – abandon
LG from old black connector – abandon
BK/TN from old black connector – abandon

13. Install blower motor resistor module. Plug old connector with twisted BIG black and BIG green wires from blower motor into new module.
Abandon and seal these wires from old 6 wire connector –
TN
LG
LB
BK/TN

Run DG wire from old black 6 wire connector to DG in new black 4 wire connector
Run wire from BCM black connector cavity 4 RD/LG to RD/LG in new black 4 wire connector
Run big BK wire from new black 4 wire connector to BK wire in new white connector for ATC control unit as told above.

14. Put dash back together and connect battery.

16. To test ATC, click here

The wires from the BCM to the old connector are suspect for door or feedback failures. Other codes are connections made between the sensors and BCM. You may have a bad part too.

17. Alarm will arm when doors are locked with the remote or with power door lock buttons. Alarm can be bypassed by manually locking doors with key or by hand. Alarm will disarm when either front door is unlocked with key (if you installed door switches, if not, push hidden switch) or with remote unlock button. When you arm alarm and doors are shut, the LED will flash rapidly. Then LED will flash slower. Alarm is armed. If alarm is triped, the horn will pulse, tail lamps park lamps and headlights will flash and engine will not start. It has a tamper alert also. If alarm was triped, the horn will pulse 3 times when alarm is disarmed.

18. The only way to test the mirror is at night. There should be a difference between on and off. When on, give mirror 5 seconds or so to adjust.
