I noticed a number of you fellas have images below your name on both the right side of the screen and in your signitures. I am puzzled on how this is done. Any help would be appreciated. I just got a copy of Paint Shop Pro and I am messing around with it.

i think hes talkin about avatars, in which case you just go to your profile and where it says "avatar 72x72" just put in the URL for the pic you want.

It appears that I cannot grab pictures from my own website. Every time I reference them using the URL they don't work. I get that stupid box with the red x in it.

Where does everyone else host their pictures from? Is there a special site that allows for this function to operate properly? I spent a lot of time learning HTML code and this is one of the things that seems to work fine locally on my own website but not anywhere else.

Most free sites are blocking other sites from linking to files on their servers to keep their bandwidth costs down these days.

I have my own website.

A lot of web hosting sites won't allow you to link to any images on your web site from another web site. That is why you can see the image on your web site, but if you try to link to that image so you can see that image on this web site (for your sig and avatar), your web host won't allow that. That is why on this web site all is see is a red x.
