Well, the time has come, I traded my Intrepid in today and bought a brand spankin new Murano. I wanted and suv type of vehicle, and I was not comfortable in the Nitro. The Murano's cab forward and interior remind me of the intrepid. I appreciate all of the help you guys have given me over the years.

Take care.

My neighbor has two and it is very nice. You can still be a member and help out others that may need your help. I am not sure if there is a nissanmurano.net. lol Good luck with your new purchase.

very nice car..... watch out for muffler shield rattles... my neighbor had one with a terrible sound. It was fixed under warranty tho. They also seem like slow cars for their size. Prob a little underpowered.

He had the hid one LOL.

To be honest, I am impressed with the get up and go of the vehicle. It is a little deceiving with the CVT and no shift shock, so you really don't know how fast you are accellerating. Also, there is a Drive S mode to give you more push, standard drive is set to give you the best mileage. I am lucky thus far that the car is quite, just going to give the dealership a hard time because I get the car new and they never filled with windshield washer fluid :gun: no biggie though, but I spent enough so I want to bust their balls.

If I were to go SUV right now, it would be a Murano as well. I always liked since they came out. One of my coworkers has one and it definately had some get up and go...even with an old Grandma driving it. I'm sure the mpg will be pretty good too. Congrats and happy trails to you :)

im switching to all Japanese too. Us vehicles are way too big and slow when put to work. Plus Japanese cars are very luxurious. The Murano is absolutely amazing in looks inside and out vs the Durango or jeeps that Chrysler sells.

I have a 2007 Civic EX now and its an amazing little vehicle. A lot better than the compact competition. Its gonna be a sad day next year when i trade in my trep for the 350z, but it looks like it will happen for sure now.

Chrysler doesn't sell a Murano competetor, only one that really rings a bell is the Pacifica, but it's got a 3rd row. Only one out of the US lineup is the Ford Edge that goes directly at the Murano.
