I am currently working on development of a several high performance items for the LH cars. However I am having difficulty obtaining detailed technical information on the engines. I need to get certain specs so i can set up the computer models properly. I want to have accurate models before I buy a test car and all the equipment to go into prototyping. I'm looking for info on the head flow, the valve sizes, the cam specs, and any any any other info available. Any resources you folks here could provide would be great. Thanks a lot in advance.

if you get the DC service manual I'm sure all the specs you want would be in it.if not try calling DC tech guys in Detroit. Your dealer may be able to help.Hope this helps and keep us informed on how you are doing.

Scott - hope you are not thinking along the lines of different ratio valve train as in 1.5 or 1.6 like the Chevy or Ford ones. We have overhead cams and you can't throw on a set for more opening. If you have some other idea, don't be silent 'cause a bunch of us would be interested. BTW, I also don't have any specs to pass on to you. Sorry.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a service manual on order, and I'm hoping to get some of the specs out of that when it arrives. I don't actually plan to change the cam or valvetrain. I just need info on that so I can do more computer modeling. I am currently working on a forced induction system, but I need to do as much predictive computer modeling as I can before I start prototyping.
