My question is about a 99 Grand Am SE so I appreciate any help you guys can give on this...alright so my gf starts her car today (its about 15 degrees outside)...and this is what happened:
turned on car, car started up slow (slower than usual), makes a rumbling sound and the car begins shaking literally, then check engine light comes on...then she turns it off and 5 mins later she tries it again and this time the car shakes even more and the check engine light begins to flash...so she cuts it off. Now recently, in august she had a major tune up and then in october had her had gasket replaced...so what do you guys think it is?

i havent checked the fluids yet (oil, coolant, trans, ps, etc..) but i was thinking maybe headgasket problems again...

flashing check engine light is usually a multi cylinder misfire. When the tune up was done did they use AC Delco platium plugs and AC delco wires? If they did not get them put on. No other plug works for long in those engines.
