So my step son changed the plugs on his minivan because it was stalling at lights. I told him to get champions but he got motorcrap iridium. Now the car idles worse and is still dying at lights, even more frequently. Should I tell him to swap the plugs? I was thinking it could be the IAC, EGR if it has one or a dirty throttle body

Its a 2003 3.3L with 48K, no codes

What would you do first?

first get the flippen autolite/ motorcrap out of there, check plug wires, then dive for the dirty throttle plate, if all looks ok,, head right to the egr valve

Well, it finally pulled a code today so I told them to take a ride to autozone, looks like its a bad coil, so it paid off for them to wait a couple days. Paid off for me too because I'm sure I'll be the one doing the work.
