Hello jcman311,

I am new to this car and forum. I am interested on your 93' Eagle Vision TSi with autostick. I guess there was not a 93 Vision with Autostick. So, I assume you install it on your own, right?

So, I would like to know how much has you spent on installing the autostick? Mine is a 94' Eagle Vision ESi, can I install autostick also? Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Bowen Chau

You can do either that... OR if Jon (JC) wants he can share his info here for all to read. That's up to him really.

Cool~ I have read jcman311's previous post on First Generation Discussion Forum. It sounds very easy and it will not cost me a lot of money.

I just want to know if I bring the how-to instruction to the mechanics, do they know what is going on. I don't know anything about the mechanics. Can I still change it myself? Thanks.

Cheers,
Bowen

How much it costs depends on where you can find the parts. If you buy then from the dealer, it will cost a lot.

Unless you really know the mechanic, I doubt they would be up to it. But its hard to say.

If you do it yourself, the hardest part will be the TCM wiring. You are missing some wires in the harness. You have to replace your harness with a 96-97 tcm harness, or find some other way of making the connections (like soldering directly onto the board).

Oh yeah! Thanks for your suggestions.

I would wonder where can I get the TCM, wires and connector.....

I really want to boost up my Eagle Vision ESi. I love this car very much.

TCM is easy to find at scrap yards.

Harness is a little harder to find.

Oh yeah, but I don't know if there is any scrap yards here in Victoria since I am new to this town. How much is the TCM usually in the scrap yard?

Wow, that's really cool~~

So, is the TCM the main and the most expensive for this upgrade?

I'd be happy to answer any of the questions that you have. Really, if you follow my instructions in the How-to section, it really isnt that hard. Its really just some wiring and replacing of the shifter and cluster. Not too hard if you know your way around your car. Although, I dont think anyone has converted their 3.3L to autostick yet. But I could be wrong.
