Hey ATF (or anyone)...do you think one of these coud be mounted on the inside of the black backing piece for brake lights (red LED's) and turn signals (amber LED's)? I think the one with 2 bars (one red and one amber) would look sweet in there. Opinions? they are $18 a piece..

I think pimped is talking about is the 2 strips under the brake lights, that are seperate panels.

That would be pretty nifty to get LEDs in those reflector strips. They come out pretty easy (just two nuts on the back side per strip). Those strips aren't transparent, though. They'd hafta get replaced entirely with something.

If you wanted to, you could drill a bunch of holes in them and insert LEDS just below the surface. That'd be pretty trick, but then you gotta parallel them all to a source, etc. Lotta work but it would be cool.
