I just bought (Saturday)a 2002 Intrepid ES, 89K miles for less than $5k, in great, well very good condition. Under the hood is a sticker that says, Reprogram PCM 4606876AC, dated 7/06 with an auth/dealer code. What is this? AND, with all the instructions on this site, I still can't program additional keyless entry fobs. I have 2 from an 02 Liberty with the same numbers on the back. (with a working fob that came with the car)

All that sticker means is that the PCM was flashed with an update or something. Mine has it too.

What's the benefit in flashing your pcm?

It's like a software update. Sometimes the factory makes changes to the programming to fix a common problem or make something work better.

What I remember from my reading here is that you need two working fob to program a third one...
