hey everybody, just to let you know....if you put an after market sound system in your trep and it has the infinity sound system, make sure you activate the amplifier that comes with the system.....i wasted and hour redoing all of my connections after i didnt get any sounjd. I eventually called moss motors who referred me to sound sensations in sanbernardino ca. you can activate the amp by placing the power ant wire from the head unit to the unused wre coming from the braket. I used my acc wire for this, and everything seems t be ok....just to let you know........i also have a 7" monitor in the car now, its tight with dvd....laters

I must know the details about this monitor install. That is one of the few things I know nothing about in car audio, but I am very interested and want to get it done in my car. Did you just get a H/U with the built in flip up/down motorized screen or did you custom install one in your dash? Also, how much did this cost you? ~Thanks

monitor: i bought one on ebay. 7 inches. i was hoping i could make a customer enclosure that wold sit in the slot under the radio, but when i got the tv i realized it was too big so i mounted it on the dash. of course i take it off whenever i go anywhere case fools be trippin.......i bought it on ebay for 290 and it included the built in tv tuner.....all the people that have seen it say its tight.....

Hmmm...that's not a bad idea...

How did you mount it to the dash? Just curious, cuz I was thinking of doing something similar...
