I was watching American Muscle Car on Speedvision last night. They were talking about Chrysler's 300 line. Very intersting show, and very beautiful cars those 300 series were (and are). I don't recall what 300 series it was (maybe 300B or 300C) but it had a 375hp engine in it! They said that sucker can do 0-60 in 8.4 seconds. That must be one heavy car! My R/T only has around 250hp, and can do the 0-60 .5-1 second FASTER!

One of the people said they had some 300 cars at the track, including the 300M. They said the 300M beat everything out there except a special edition 300-Hurst. WOW!

I just thought I would share that wonderful tidbit of info. :)

the early 300 series were very heavy over 4000 lbs /plus they were geared with very tall gears which made them slow 0-60 but cruised very well.Interestingly the 57 and 58 models used the 392 hemi which Don Garlits used in his dragsters with great results.

The 300M is the latest incarnation of the 300 series. The first 300 was just called 300. Other models were the 300B, 300C, and so forth. The next model (with the new platform) will be the 300N.
