Coming home the other night from the movies and I pull up to a stop light. A black saturn(that I didnt realize was even there) pulled up next to me. Light turns green and he must have dropped the clutch pretty bad cause he barked em. I threw it down the L and caught up real fast. I was at least 5 car lengths or more at 70 and I just kept climbing, I finally let off the gas to return to normal speeds(40 mph zone) and I'm doing about 55, I see him in my rear view mirror gaining fast on me, (I guess he never let off the floor from the start! lol). He was trying to fly by me(like they all do!). Just to rub it in I wasn't gonna let him pass me. So I dropped it back down to 3rd and we were even and I just took off, never let off that time, got it up to about 90 and shut her down. He must of turned off cause he was no where in sight. Funny thing is that I look down and my a/c was on 60 degrees, My girlfriend said she turned it on! I was like damn even with the a/c blowin lol. Stupid kill, fun race...

I smoked the hell out of them, with the a/c on, and you know how much power is lost with the a/c on too. I thought I noticed it wasnt running fast, but I was too busy making sure the saturn didnt pull any stunts on me.

Those Saturn guys are funny how they think they have awesome sports cars. LOL Anyway it makes no difference if you have your A/C on or not. When you have your A/C on and you go to wide open throttle, your throttle position sensor tells the computer that you are at wide open throttle and if the computer sees that your A/C is on it will turn off the A/C clutch. From the mid-eightys to present this is done. I believe for safety reasons. Matt 97 3.5 ES

I never had it full wide open, it doggs out unless you hammer it to the floor and dont let off. I guess the saturn started racing me before I realized it, otherwise I would of knocked off the A/C and take off traction control.
