Hello all,

Im in need of some help with one of my overhead map lights. The light still works when I turn the switch but I think I busted the spring in it.

Can someone help??

Im in need of some help with one of my overhead map lights. The light still works when I turn the switch but I think I busted the spring in it.

The spring is built into the switch itself. Doesn't seem likely to break, but possible. Grab both sides of the maplight and pull straight down to take a look. (Maplights are held in place by 2 compression brackets). The switch will just pop out from the Maplight bracket for examination. If you need a new part, I can help you out for cost of postage. PM if you'd like.
