Finally got a (somewhat crappy) pic of my 2000 Intrepid ES that I picked up Monday night. White wasn't my first choice, but I'm liking it more every day.

Nice choice, however I bet that it'll be a pain to keep clean. DIRT+white= :(

Nice and clean looking. I like it. Looks like the front tire could use a little air though. ;)

White is easy to keep clean compared to black/dark blue/dark green.

However, if he had a metallic silver, it would look nice and shiny all the time. :D

Thanks guys. That was it's first night home, I filled up the low tires the next day. So far my only 'mod' has been moving the seat back  I'm trying to find somebody around here that tints car windows. A cd player will come soon too. Also, I plan on doing anti-foam and painted brake calipers fairly soon.

Please post a pic of your caliper paint job(s) when finished. I just might consider doing that if it looks good enough to make the effort. What color will you paint yours?

I was thinking red would look the best with my white car along with the red taillights and whatnot....but everybody does red, so that makes me want to do some other color. Maybe blue? Purple sounds cool but might not look so good.

Go with Blue, that would look sweet with a white car.

Sorry gotta disagree. Red would stick out bigtime on a white car and would look way better IMO than blue. Blue looks nice on Intrepid99's ride... but on a white car... go with red. ;)

Please tell me how dumb this idea is. Front Calipers blue and back calipers red. Just an idea I just thought of. Although that'd be another thing of paint I'd have to buy so maybe not...

You could always do the drivers side in red and the other in blue. You can't see both sides of a car at the same time and you get both looks.

That's a good possible idea.

I've got some new pictures of mods and such!

The following are pix of my caliper painting adventures. I basically just followed what I found at http://www.celicagarage.citymax.com/page/page/46634.htm

Here's my DI.net decal I finally put on.

Here is my front, driver-side tire. The tread area I circled in red doesn't look right to me. What do you all think?

All my trep pix can be found at http://alexnelson.virtualave.net/trep/

Later dudez!

Oh yeah and if I play my cards right, I may just have some trep/bikini pix to share sometime this month...let's hope so!
