Been toying with the idea of picking up a jankyard gauge cluster from a 1st gen trep.

I've allways perfered the white face gauges from the trep to the black face on my Eagle.

Any guess if this would be a quick bolt in or some major modifications?

Its not quite a simple replace, but it is pretty easy. There are two plugs where the cluster plugs into. One on your right, the other on your left. The one on your right fits in just fine. The one on your left (thats the one on the side with the light switch) has to be modified. Its pretty easy to see. The plug fits, but it has to be rotated. The easiest installation is to get the plug out of its "holder" and then cut a hole for it about 1.5" toward the center. Make the hole big enough for the whole plug to fit through. Then you just plug the left plug in and then push the guages in and the other plug fits right into place. It took me about 15 min for the total modification. Looks kick ass though, they have them on e-bay for like $20.

Just an update.. It does work fine, for some reason one of the two connectors is rotated 90 degrees, but a knife and about 2 minutes takes care of that :)

The bezel around the gauges, however doesnt fit quite right, its hardly noticeable, but will drive me crazy until i get one from a trep to stick in there.. :)

I would guess its the same, since the Vision and the Concorde have the same gauge cluster.

Its not really bad, hardly noticeable, but the intrepid bezel should fit just fine and goes for about $5-10 at a junkyard...
