That's why I was glad I bought a white car. In the winter, it really hides the salt.
One good thing about winter, though, is that your windshield and the rest of the front of the car won't get full of bug splatter. Salt washes off easy...bugs often do not.
Thankfully I don't really have to worry too much about the extreme cold weather that we're sure to have at least a few days this winter because of the standard-equipment engine block heater and battery warmer.
However, nothing looks quite like jet black when it's perfectly clean and shiny, so for that, I am a little envious of your black cars.
