I'm going to be putting them in my foglights, but i was wondering about putting them in my headlights for the winter since upstate Ny weather gets pretty bad.According to JDM,they are totally 100% street legal..Has anyone else ran yellow bulbs in there ride?

The output from their JDM yellow bulbs in the fogs over the stock bulbs in the headlights overpower light output in the first gen. The yellow light cuts the weather so well. This winter I will probably run fogs and headlights yellow. Its incredible. Currently I have Silverstars in all four spots. I don't like the look of the yellow, but in our michigan storms, its worth every penny to be able to see.

With all those color choices and their money back guarantee, they make me wanna purchase a set in each color just to see if they're as good as they claim...

I've tried the Ultra Violet in my fogs. They were pretty good. They had good light output and had a tint of purple. Not exactly like the purple you see from some HID kits though.

I'm currently using the JDM Yellow in my fogs and I'm loving these.

I've also used the Hyper White in my low beams. I'm going to put those back in one of these days and see how they perform in my new housings. They are a beautiful white light.

As far as I know, selective yellow isn't legal to drive with in Illinois.
Partial tint selective yellow, no problem.
Brake out the dremmel, and put in the Philips WeatherVision 9005s in the lows.

Right , I didn't say anything about that bcs I didn't know if in diff. states they allow them, here in Canada they don't, well let's say it's like testing your luck. If they want they can give you a ticket, but having yellow headlights is really annoying to oncoming traffic.

Are the JDM Hyper White better than the Silverstars?

There is no JDM Hyper White. It's just Hyper White. JDM only goes in front of yellow. :)

I like the look of the Hyper White over the Silverstars. As for down range illumination, I can't exactly say because I haven't used the Hyper White in my new housings.

P.S. JDM is short for Japenese Domestic Market. :)
