I need some help guys I have to change the front brakes and rotors on a 2000 jeep grand cher. Does anyone know where i can get a how-to online. Hopefully something with pics. I have changed them brakes on my intrepid about 3 times already with no problems but on the jeep there are little clips that look like they hold the pad in place. figured I would ask the questions before I tear them apart.
any advise would help alot this is the first time change'n brakes on the jeep.
thanks guys.

Its not that bad I got a 99 Limited.

Lift and support the Jeep after loosening the lugs.

Take tire off.

To pull the Caliper you will have to remove the slide bolts just like on the LH.

To remove the Rotor you will have to remove the caliper bracket, its held down by two 18mm(could be off on size) bolts. They are a pita but do-able. Then take your rotor off.

If your having a problem with the rotors warping your going to want to upgrade to the dual piston AKEBONO calipers. They can be pricey but this is what Jeep did to eliminate the majority of warping issue's.

The tool to push the pistons in is kind of a pita with the dual pistons but youll figure it out easily enough.

Install rotor,bracket,caliper,wheel and done.

If you swap to the better calipers swap the bleeder valves out to the self bleeding. It makes like so much easier on these things.

There is also a metal spring for the calipers, you cant miss it seriously and you just put it on the way it came off. Those clips your speaking of Ive also seen on a few treps, they just go on the ends of the pads to take some of the wear and tear off of the caliper bracket so you dont develop low points on the surface.

Its cake man, you can do it!

I wont be home untill next week but when I get there I can send you the WJ FSM in pdf format just like we have here for the LH
