The is car is basically up on my set of ramps that I have. Once I got the front-end high enough so that the inner structure will not hit the ramps, I tried driving it the rest of the way up them. It turned out the right side tire was doing nothing but spinning away on the ramps and the car was not moving.

It took a come-a-long some Aircract Towing cable and the C-3500 to help get the trep over the hump that was stopping it from climbing up on the ramps. The C-3500 just where I had it parked and used the come-a-long with the help of the extra steel cable to move the car (Trans was in neutral).

As of right now, it is sitting on the ramps awaiting it's oil change.

Right now that is about as far as I got with the car. I have been trying to take care of my health and body here lately and have not really fooled with changing the oil or anything. I am not giving no guarantees pr anything but if I can get my shoulder to quit hurting long enough and have the energy, I will get out there and start the oil change on the car.

On another note, the battery conversion that I did a month or so back is still holding strong and is working flawlessly. I can start the car without having to dig out the charger to put on the battery for a while to charge it back up enough to start the car.

Well even with upsetting my right shoulder, I still managed to get the oil changed on the car. Took about 30 minutes to get it done due to the fighting I was doing with the oil filter. Now it sounds so much quieter and it sounds like the startup tick (I think that is what it is called) is now gone. No leaks at all under the car as well.

VALVOLINE NEXT GEN 10w-30

Well the car is still hanging around like a bad penny and it is still starting up and moving around by itself like a champ.

I have not really had a chance to do a whole lot to the car in a while, but it looks like that is about to change. I am now getting ready to prep the car for a good run, and see what it will do out on the open road (Getting it up to 60+), and if it preforms flawlessly, then it will be switched over from standby to Daily Driver status. There is now a reason as to why I am going to be doing this, and you can see the explanation as to why here in this thread..

The tests will be going from my house, traveling 33 miles one way for a few days while I am getting Physical Therapy for my right shoulder. If it does well, then I will start pushing it a little bit further and go 54 miles one way to get it fully lubed up and every little kink worked out on it. I was planning on getting the tag for the car not to long ago, but that went out the door, but either Thursday or Friday next week, I should have it tagged and ready for it to rock and roll.

**EDIT**

I need to find a better place to store all my pics and everything. I am not certain but it appears my image hosting place went AWOL or my account was hacked into and all the pics are gone.

The things on my TO-DO and MOD list for my car (If I can locate some parts :D)

TO-DO:
Get the seats reinstalled into the car
Prep the car for some short runs for testing
Paint it (Colors still unknown ATM)
TB / WP

MODS Planned:
Convert it from MTC to ATC (Got to locate parts :D)
Install OTIS

I love having a few spare parts for the car. I went to see what all spare parts that I had (Asked a couple of questions as well), and they are still floating around..

I have the following spare parts:
ABS Pump Module (It says ABS on what looks like the computer for it)
Battery Tray with battery hold down clip
Front License Plate Holder
The air dam for the car (just have to move some stuff around to get to the black piece of the air dam)
Non-AutoStick TCM
The drivers side headlamp bracket
Coolant Recovery Tank (1st gen) - Looks to be in Good condition with no cracks
Windshield washer bottle with the sensors and what not on it
The deal which the bumper support bar (piece which the bumper sits on, and protects the radiator / Condenser).
The steering Rack (got to move items to get to it).

There probably is more, just have to go move more things to see what all I pulled off the replacement inner-structure when I have a chance.

I would also like to thank Cean (cdmccul) for sending the bolts I needed so that I can put the seats and seatbelts back in the car so that I can get the thing ready for some testing. I have been under the weather lately, so I have not been able to get out there and install them.

Trying a new tactic while I am still not feeling well and that is get outside while the sun is shining and absorb the good stuff the sun puts out. It helps out a lot, especially if you are out there for more than 30 minutes at a time.

Well it looks like I may have to go visit the yard anyways when I get my income tax in, so that I can get some major parts that I need.

1.) The Cowl
2.) The front Passenger side skirt (Mine has deformed / bent for some unknown reason) and the little black clips that holds it to under the body.

One thing I have just thought about is taking the heat gun that my father bought years ago and heating the skirt up where the problem location is at and re-bend it back into shape. Since it is plastic, it shouldn't be that hard IMO.

Also I need to dig out my pressure Washer and get something to help remove the oil that accumulated on the block and exhaust manifolds of the car. I think since it sat for a good while when I got it, a lot of the oil seeped out getting all over the block and manifolds.

One last thing I am trying to take care of is a better place where I can store all my pictures and videos that I have done throughout the entire course of the rebuild of the car..

When I get ready to paint the car, one thing I think I will need to get is some Bondo or something like that. I have to do a little repair to the rear bumper cover.

Don't try to patch that - it will not patch well. The best you could do with that is to take it off, use a plastic welder and filler to try and seal the cracks, then use a plastic filler - but to get the texture right would be hell. Just get a new bumper cover out of a junk yard - your car and your paint will thank you.

The part in bold ran across my mind a time or two.

How that big section of paint or whatever it is called got knocked off, well that is another story. I was backing the trep into that spot one day, and accidently smacked the rear bumper cover on the grader blade

I think you'd have a TON of time into feathering that spot, and it will always look like hell, IMO - not worth the risk if you are at all strapped for money - Just replace it all and be done - no risk of having to repaint.

If you were closer, I'd get you my rear bumper cover.

The front clear corner lights that I have for my car has not grown on me, so I may make a trade thread. The original ones IMO are better, but that is me and if I was to post a trade, I would want a set of original.

Of course i will keep the bulbs that are in my current corner lights now. They are the ones that during the day when the lights are not on look silver, and when they are on, they are amber.

The next oil I am going to be putting in the trep is pictured below. I do not really trust the Valvoline NexGen oil, even though it gets good marks, and according to word of mouth it is suppose to be a good oil.




What is not pictured is the oil filter. I am going to be using the MOPAR filter (Already have 1 installed on the car).

Ugh, not that I want to, but I may just bite the bullet, get the tag for the car next week so that I can start the true testing of the car, and take the 5 gallon gas can with me when I go (Will be using the S-10) and fill it up with the correct gas for the car, and then dump that into the tank.

I just gotta know where it's current limits are at, and then fix that to make it better, and also be able to test the suspension and trans to see what, if any, work would be needed there.. The testing of driving it up and down my gravel road does not really tell me much about it since I don't get it over XX mpg (less than 20 mph).
