A few pics of the work in progress, and some of the donor car in her former glory.

'98 Trep (Donor)

'99 Trep (salvage yard reject restoration project)

After Engine replacement, swapped bumper, driver and passenger side front windows, new battery, other minor repairs, and a LOT of colorful expletives.

ITS ALIVE!! ALIIIIVVEEE!

And its.. kind of.. ugly!
Pretty bad when your donor car looks WAY better than your project car eh?

I'm a bit confused, what was wrong with the donor car? It looks like it should have been the other way around! Goof job getting it running though.

Silver had a malfunction in the electrical system, shut her down completely.. never could track it down.
Reject had a blown motor. Being I have zero technical skills and can't afford to pay someone to do it.. figured it was easier to swap a motor than rewire the whole car..
So... Reject it is!

Plans: Drive to work and restore her as I can find/afford parts.

Did you change the waterpump and check the TC while the motor was out?
Nope... Already kickin myself in the ass for that one.
Getting tires/brakes, inspection today . Gonna see about the WP/TC Wednesday.
Already throwing a "Check Engine" at me, will find out the code later.
