Ok, a couple weeks ago i was just sitting in my car and decided i had to do something with the cubby hole below my stereo, and this is what i came up with. I had the decal made at a local sign shop, then put it on a thin piece of clear plastic with a white sheet of printer paper behind it. I then put some green lights (2 green #194's) behind it. I spliced the power into the little green light in the flip down ash tray below the cubby. Now the lights come on with the parking/headlights and will dim with my dash lights. Only problem was when i did this there was a "dead" spot in the middle that barely lit up so i bought another green bulb and stuck it in, but for some reason the new bulb i bought is Hunter green and the old bulbs were a little different shade of Green
For right now i'm going to leave it like this until i can figure out some different method of lighting. Tell me what you think.
oh, and BTW, in person at night it looks better than in the pic, so you'll just have to use your imagination... the camera i used doesn't like to take pics of lights @ night for some reason...
