Does anybody know if www.2-7-fix.com and/or www.intrepidconversions.com are still up and running and taking engine orders? Does anyone know of anyone else building 2g engine conversion kits? I wish I could do it myself, but i know nothing about working on cars other than installing audio equipment. Also, how much does the actual process of swapping the engines usually cost at an installation garage?

Any help would be appreciated. Now this conversion shouldn't be too difficult for somebody that's installed engines before, correct?

As long as you have put an engine in before, it should be no problem. Its not much different from just changing an engine out, with the exception of changing the parts that are different between 2.7 and 3.2/5 and shortening up the exhaust pipe. As long as you have all the right parts and know how, it should be a breeze.
