thats right guys!! I did it finally !!!!

MY 96 ES for a 2000 RT ...........it was done on this past Friday.

I just posted the pictures in the 2nd gen pic area in our site.

I am hoping that my 1st gen amigos can maybe vote for me for the "car of the month"

FACTS: 2000 RT
32,720 miles
moonroof
charcoal blk w/blk cloth interior
cd w/cassette ( nice stock sounds )
17" alloys
PHAT stock chrome tip
NOT ! ****IN DENT !!!!!

I have to be honest..........I DONT MISS MY 96 !!!!!

But what I do miss is that raw power coming from that flowmaster.

BUt this RT is just so damm smooth. I finally opened it up on Sunday and hit 120mph w/o any hesitiation from it's 3.5 HO engine. I love this ****in car.

I am hoping that someone can put up these 4 pics up in this thread/forum so that everyone can see.

I think that pin stripe needs to go.

But other then that, it looks really good.

yes.........I do need to agree that I need to loose the pinstipe. But since the wheels are not chrome and the car is not really black, it looks kind of cool

I dont think that I have ever seen a RT with these stripes??

Maybe it can work for me with the IOM votes !!!

Very nice. Yeah the stripe does stick out... but come on guys.. cut him a little slack. Its not like he put the stripe on himself... he bought the car used.

And also... he traded in a 96 for an RT!!!! A major upgrade if u ask me.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the RT family. :D

But yeah, peel those pin stripes offa' there! Go ahead, just pick at one end with your fingernail to get it going & "ziiiiiiiippppp"!! Here, lemme' show ya...  And while you're at it, slap on one of those mustang spoilers like djpill has!

Congrats on that purchase and great deal with choosing the only "real color" - sure looks sweet as hell!

the pin stripes are usually applied by dealerships? I had a friend that use to put them on and all his job was to wash cars! heh
