This probably isnt the right place to post this(I should look to ATV forums but I dont have time). Anyways it is a Kawasaki Bayou 220 and I cant get it to run without the choke on full. I left it running with full choke until it warmed up a bit and then as soon as I moved the lever it died. Now it wont start at all I dont think that would flood the engine but I am not sure. There is spark and there is fuel.

don't really think you would need to find an ATV forum, engines all work on the same principles, with atv and things like that usually being less complicated than car engines.

not really sure what you can do though, seems you have checked the basics, spark fuel etc...

maybe the carb is plugged up, or an air leak. with the choke on full that would be less air more fuel, running rich, so with the choke off might be to much air, not enough fuel. the float might be bad. take the carn off and clean it

its been a long time since I have messed with small engines, took it in high school 10 years ago, and didn't pay much attention in class. so this is all just a guess.

Sounds like you have a clogged jet in the carb, or some kind of fuel restriction. The 'full choke' pulls more vacuum in the intake, sucking gas in.I think there is a fuel pump, too. My bayou clicks for 15-30 seconds when I first turn the key on..
Pull the air filter off and see how it looks, too.

Well I am back from riding ATV's and I got it to work just had to put it to reserve even though there was fuel getting to the engine I guess there just wasnt enough or something. Now though when I stopped on steep inclines like climbing rocks the ATV would die and would not start without applying a little throttle.
