I just saw the most kick ass commercial for the new Concord!

A mother was driving with her young daughter in the passanger seat and a baby in the back seat.

Daughter: "Mom. How did I get my name?"
Mother: "Well, we named you after the place where you were conceived."
Daughter: "So that's how I got my name Savanna. So why is her name (the little baby) Concord?"

The daughter than notices the writing "Concord" written on the glove box and says "Oh man" (or something like that).

Meanwhile, the commentator throughout the commercial is saying "Some people like..." and he says some things about the Concord. After the daughter said "Oh man", the commentator says, "Others like the big back seat."

It took me by surprise!!

Yup, seen it, it's was very forward and surprising from Chrysler. I did laugh my butt off. Very good commercial. And yes, some of us do appreciate the "large back seat!"

Its funny how they call it the "all new Concorde" when it is actually the LHS with Concorde badging. All new my fat ass!

thats soo funny, especialy for a Concord, not that a Concord is an old persons car, but the Intrepid seems to be more youthful I can only picture younger people "doin it" in the back of a car. So I feel it would personaly suit the Trep better then the Concord. But in any case, sounds like a very funny comercial I want to see it.

It just goes to show you how much sex and advertising have gotten it on baby! yeah! I don't choose a product over the other because the commercial had a chick with big one's. But the advertisers are betting you'll remember the ones that have a strong sexual undertone. Which is why even Chrysler has turned shallow, and meager in order to feed the masses.

It's all about making you remember the product. If they put out a "shocking" commercial, are you going to remember that commercial and the product? Good chances are that you will.

They have this commercial on the Chrysler website along with all of their other commericials...It's called "Weird Names"

Chrysler has cleaned that commercial up. The daughter still asks the mother how the little sister got her name but before the older sister looks in the back and then says "Ewww gross" the mother interrupts and says "Concorde, Massachusetts silly" I guess Chrysler has no balls after all. Good commercial before they changed it though.
