By March 06, large lanel prices (19" and larger) should be 1/3 cheaper than they were in Nov 05.

This, in theory, might push the price of true 1080i (1080 pix vert resolution)37" flat panels down to the $1000 price point.

And to imagine, I just bought a brand new 32" HDTV LCD for $900 CDN. :(

It also follows a consistent trend, as with any tech gadgets. The prices of "old tech" gadgets will always drop as newer versions or new technologies are developed.

LCD TV's were a big hit and commanded high prices, until plasma TV's became more abundant. And once something new comes along that surpasses plasma technology, then it is highly possible to see "old tech" plasma TV's on clearance shelves instead of the showroom.
