Theres a really good article in C&D this month, rated V1 the best. The mag w/ the GT40 on the cover.

Anyone else got the Phazer? I want to get one b/c there supposively legal in NY. Or am I just dropping $300 on junk?

The PHAZER works great! When troopers try to clock you they got a lower reading than what you are really traveling. Theres nothing like seeing that Highway Patrolman slapping his radar gun on the side of the road after I cruise by!

How To Build a RADAR Jammer in 5 Easy Steps:

Step 1: Go to the Salvation Army or other used junk store and buy the oldest, most powerful microwave oven you can find.

Step 2: Open up the microwave and pull out the magnetron. It's a metal rectange attached to the fan.

Step 3: Get some aluminum foil and roll it into a ball. Duct tape this to the open end of the magnetron.

Step 4: Get a power inverter and plug in the magnetron to the inverter, and the inverter to your cigarette lighter.

Step 5: Strap the magnetron to you hood and drive real fast.

This will jam every radar gun in front of you for about a quarter a mile. It will also jam every radio, pacemaker, and tv set. In other words, a really bad idea. (Also a felony)

Thanks INTREPID99! Thats great info to know. Thats some pretty &*(^%&* up @#$% right here!!! I spent like $400 bucks on that thing and now I find out it doesnt even work?! HOLLY @&$%!!!

If you want a good cheaper detector the Cobra ESD 6200 is great, has 6 bands, with voice alert. detects for a good 2 miles before I see the cop!
