Check your plug wires... how long has it been since you replaced all of your plugs and wires? You said something about arcing.
I bought a set of 55 dollar plug wires and that fixed my shaking problem in my car because the 6th cylinder was not firing for about 1.5 months (spent about 1k replacing all this ****, water pump, 6 new fuel injectors [which were going south anyways] and it turns out to be plug wires).
Once i replaced the plug wires and I put some new autolite platinums in there about 1 month before the wires, everything is working A+ now. Trying running some of that engine cleaner through there also and see what that does.
