OK, I'm planning on making a custom intake for my 3.3, but I'm having a few problems. First, 2.5 " tubing would be plenty, wouldn't it? Also, all the mass produced intakes have a rubber seal on the TB end. What could I use on the end of my intake to seal it air tight to the TB? BTW, I cleaned out my TB yesterday, it was real cruddy. I noticed a power gain, and the engine was a lot smoother up around 6k RPMs.

you can buy the rubber couplers individually at a place like Autozone.

We don't have any Autozones down here (don't know why?) We mainly have Advance and Carquest and Napa.

Advance should have them... hell, even Carquest and Napa should. They'll probably be hidden in the same row with wire loom, breather filters, chrome valve covers, etc...

There is one about 30 miles from me. And it's only 6 bucks. I think I'll use 3" tubing with the 3" to 2.5" coupler.
