Hello all! I was considering swapping out my manual climate control panel for an automatic one. Is this something relatively straightforward that someone could do in under an hour? As far as I know, all the ATC stuff is inside the control panel and there isn't anything else that I would need to add. You guys know more than I do. Thanks for your time!

You would either need to do some under-dash cable hacking or swap the ATC version of the harness in place of your ATC version (partial disassembly of dash required). It would be more than an hour in either case.
The harness swap is the cleaner way to go, but might be difficult to find the harness from a yard or a private seller these days. I think I have the harness hack How-To on my desktop. I will try to post it - might not happen today.
Oh - you also would need to swap out the MTC blower motor resistor module for the ATC transistor module (drop-in replacement on the HVAC assembly). If your car doesn't have the sun sensor (red thing in center of dash at base of windshield), you would need to add it.

Ah ok. Ig if I do that, I’d want to add auto headlights too since I’m sure it’s used for that as well. Thanks for the help! I do know if a guy that works in auto collision repair and he sells off parts of totaled cars. I bet I’ll be able to get something from him.
Also would all you need for auto lights is the right headlight switch and the sunlight sensor?

Alright sounds good! Think if that's the case I'll upgrade to automatic lights as well when I do the ATC swap. Appreciate your help!
Also one more question; does the sunlight sensor also need the associated wiring harness or should it be inside the dash?

The connector may or may not be there. There's an insert that drops into a recess in the top of the dash - immediately behind the windshield. extends all that from side to side from one A-pillar to the other. Pull the A-pullers off and you should be able to lift the insert out. The connector would be in a recess right in the center of the dash. I believe my '99 2.7 had the connector already there.
