I was wondering if there are any planned intrepid meets anywhere in the midwest. And if there isnt how many people would want to so something could get organized somehow.

well, there is one going on on the weekend of the 20/21 of oct.. but I bowl that weekend. so lets come up with another weekend. need to find a good central spot tho, midwest is a big place, and the fun areas are near the lakes. we should do like... a meet at 6 flags and do the fright fest thing or something interesting like that.

Hey pimpin' how far away are you from Dubuque? I have relatives that live in Jones County that I visit twice a year.

As for somewhere central, I'm not sure. Next spring I'll be hosting a meet at Hooters in Madison.

The only other Wisconsin meet coming up is November 25 in Sheboygan, WI on the lakefront (indoors, heated building).

im a couple of hours away from Debuque....im near Mason City if you know where that is.....and you are right....Iowa is VERY boring. Hence the reason i need to go to an intrepid meet, something interesting

sioux falls is not really centrally located but it would allow the iowa and SD/ND guys to show up. i have family in both sioux falls and minneapolis, they say it's about an 5 hours between the two. i know chicago is farther than that but if i lived in chicago i'd rather go to a michigan meet. then you can go up by GR and eat bing cherries and ****, course that's just me and my affection for cherries.

i would be willing to go to minneapolis or sioux falls for a meet, but not farther than that.

Sounds like people would be interested in going there more than not... stuff to do... Parking lots are a pain, especially with the holidays coming around...... howabout a packer-vikings game in Minnysoda? that would definately be interesing......

hmm... they play on Oct 21 in the cities, 3:15 pm. that is the same weekend as the other meet.. only... late on sunday... very much a possibility tho.. I am only an hour away....

I"m up for a meet at the Mall of America. The only condition is that it has to be b/t Dec 16 and Jan 13. I think a German meet would be cool too, but I think it would only be me and Gunslinger.
